Privacy notice.

The short version

• We collect only what you type into the forms, plus what you send us for a review.
• We use it to run this test and, only if you agreed, to email you about the tool.
• We store it in Canada, never sell it, and delete it when you ask.
• No analytics, no ad pixels, and no cookies of our own on this site.

Who we are

QWIKIT Software Solutions Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Privacy questions and requests go to privacy@qwikit.co, which reaches the person responsible for privacy at QWIKIT.

What we collect, and why

• Waitlist: your email, your answers (where you are, your search stage, what's hardest, what you'd use), that you confirmed you're 18 or older, and which link brought you here (for example "linkedin"). We use it to measure interest and decide what to build.
• Email consent: if you tick the box, we record the exact wording you agreed to and when. We only email people who ticked it, and every email has an unsubscribe option.
• Price questions: your four answers, stored without your email, so they can't be linked to you.
• Apply-Ready Review: Stripe sends us your email, the amount and the payment status. We never see your card. The posting and resume you email us are used only to write your review.
• Spam protection: to limit repeated sign-ups, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address and the date. It changes every day and can't be turned back into your address. We don't store your IP address itself.

Where it's kept, and who helps us

• Microsoft Azure: our forms are handled by Azure servers in the United States, and what you submit is stored in Azure's Canada Central region (Toronto).
• Stripe: processes payments, under Stripe's privacy policy. The checkout page is Stripe's, not ours, and may use Stripe's own cookies.
• Anthropic (US): we use Claude, Anthropic's AI, to help draft reviews. We ask you to remove your contact details from your resume first, and we don't send your email address to it.
• Our business email provider: receives the files you email us.

Some of these providers are outside Canada, so your information may be accessed under the laws of those countries.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist and consent records: until you ask us to delete them, or until we decide not to build the tool, when we delete the list.
• Review files and drafts: deleted 30 days after we send your review.
• Payment records: kept as long as Canadian tax law requires (generally six years).

Your choices

Email privacy@qwikit.co to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop emails. We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Alberta, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.

Age

This site is for people 18 and older. If we learn someone younger signed up, we delete their information.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you agreed to emails, we'll tell you by email.
